He is an experienced General Practitioner, having completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), Zheng Zhou University, China, in 2003. Subsequently, he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand, in 2015.

Dr Khalid migrated to New Zealand. He worked in various capacities in Auckland and Rotorua before moving to Victoria, Australia, in 2022, where he continues his career in General Practice.

He has a special interest in:

• Mental Health
• Minor procedures (Skin cancer, Incision and drainage, Wedge resection, Implanon insertion & removal (Jadelle))
• Chronic disease management and health promotion.

Qualifications: MD, FRACGP.
